Curry and Young are two of the most dynamic point guards in the league but why are some people saying its too early to compare Trae Young to the older NBA vet?

In his first three NBA seasons, Trae Young is out performing Steph Curry in almost every category
I've never been one of those people who say, "if not for Dr. J there would be no MJ, or if not for MJ, there would be no Kobe, or no Lebron. So the fact that Trae Young is doing things Stephen Curry wasn't doing in his first three years in the NBA I believe is more a product of his own ability and potential greatness, and not necessarily because Curry may have inspired Trae Young as a young dude on the come up.
Young plays more confidently than Steph ever did at 20 and 21 and has already captured a few milestones in the NBA it took Curry significantly longer to attain. For example, Young in his second year in the league averaged 29 points and 9.3 assists per game. It took Curry almost 7 years and an All Star roster to get close to those numbers, and even so, he's yet to average 9.3 assists per game. Trae has played with lesser talent and has produced greater numbers in areas a point guard is evaluated by, points and assist. Of course, people are going to say, Trae is no Steph Curry, but does he have to be? He's starting his career in a way that suggest he's trying to be the best Trae Young, and that just might be enough to secure his own level of greatness.
